Don't Fence Me In began as a photograph of a wild horse standing alone in an open field. Reworked stroke by stroke, the scene was washed in a dusted rose hue and pulled into soft, swirling texture — the grass and air around the horse turned to motion while the animal itself stayed still, watchful, unbothered by the world swirling past it. What was once a simple field becomes something closer to a feeling: freedom caught mid-breath. Part photograph, part painting, it's a quiet study in what it means to belong to no one but yourself.
