Falling Through Wonder began as a photograph of a waterfall cascading between two granite cliffs, framed by pine and a wide, swirling sky. Reworked stroke by stroke, the clouds above were pulled into slow, spiraling currents while the falling water below caught its own quiet motion — sky and stone and water all moving together, each in its own rhythm. What was once a single dramatic drop becomes something closer to a feeling of freefall, suspended somewhere between awe and disbelief. Part photograph, part painting, it's a small study in the kind of wonder that takes your breath before your mind catches up.
