Quiet Among the Wild Green began as a photograph of a dark horse standing among tall grasses and brush, half-hidden in the green. Reworked stroke by stroke, the foliage around it was pulled into soft, swirling texture, the wild growth seeming to breathe and shift while the horse stood steady at its center. What was once a simple grazing moment becomes something closer to a held silence — stillness found in the middle of so much motion. Part photograph, part painting, it's a quiet study in the kind of calm that only exists a little bit wild.
