Where the Wind Carries Us began as a photograph of a lone tree clinging to a golden cliff's edge, a bird caught mid-flight against the open sky. Reworked stroke by stroke, the clouds above were pulled into slow, swirling currents, while the stone below stayed warm and grounded beneath them — the whole scene balanced between rootedness and flight. What was once a single captured instant becomes something closer to a feeling: the pull to let go and drift, if only for a moment. Part photograph, part painting, it's a small meditation on the freedom found at the edge.
